Who we are
Richmond Fellowship’s East Surrey Community Connections service is mostly funded by the NHS Surrey Heartlands Clinical Commissioning group and Surrey County Council. We work closely with NHS mental health services and other local organisations to provide non-clinical mental health support to individual’s living in Surrey.
Our service provides support to individual’s, living in Surrey, who would like support with their mental health and wellbeing.
Our Community Links Advisors can work with you on a one-to-one basis providing information, advice and guidance and informal short-term support as required.
At your first appointment your Advisor will discuss your interests with you and any goals that you have. They will then work with you to develop a support plan, using the Recovery Star approach to help you to access community activities.
Your Advisor will encourage you to take practical steps to reach the goals you set and will support you to overcome any barriers you may encounter.
You will also have access to a range of wellbeing courses and peer support groups.
Who we help
Our service is available to anyone aged over 18 who lives in the Reigate and Banstead Borough Council or Tandridge District Council area and who has a mental health problem.
You can contact us directly or we accept referrals from community mental health teams, GPs, or any other agency currently supporting you.
