Our Mission:

Our mission is to work with the people that we support to design and deliver a service which enables people to:

  • Learn about mental and emotional wellbeing and increase self-awareness
  • Develop tools to manage their wellbeing more effectively
  • Connect or re-connect with their community and understand that they are not alone in what they are going through
  • Accept themselves for who they are
  • Feel valued and to gain or re-gain their sense of purpose and belonging

Our Values:

  • Hope: the belief that recovery is possible for every individual.

What that recovery journey looks like will be different for each person, which is why we tailor our support to meet people’s personal goals and provide support with those steps that feel a bit overwhelming.

  • Respect: valuing differences and all contributions.

Our service is designed around mutual respect. We value equality and diversity in all aspects of our work, and we hope that all the people that we support feel welcome and understood and that their contributions will be received with gratitude and appreciation.

  • Enabling: Giving people encouragement and support to achieve their goals.

We offer a service which is supportive and understanding whist also empowers people to take control of their recovery journey. Our team can offer encouragement and advise and explore options with people, but which path they take is ultimately their decision, and we will be led by them on that.

  • Inclusion: The belief that everyone has a right to participate fully in society.

We support people to identify the barriers which are preventing them from achieving their personal goals, and then take small steps towards overcoming those barriers, so that each person is able reach their goals.  Although it is important to focus on people as individuals, it is also important for us to address the wider, societal issues, which is why we are committed to educating people and challenging the stigma surrounding mental health in everything that we do.
