13 June 2023
10.30am to 12.30pm
Niamh, from Surrey’s Greener Future Team
ABOUT THIS SESSION
Tackling Climate Change together!
We can no longer think of climate change as a problem for the future: it’s already affecting millions of people across the globe, including those that live and work in Surrey. Through collective climate action, we can make our environments greener, healthier places.
This week is Great Big Green Week which is the UK’s biggest ever celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature. As part of the Great Big Green Week, we have invited Niamh (pronounced “Neeve”) from Surrey’s Greener Future team to explain how we can make small and affordable choices in our lives that will benefit the climate and wildlife. #GreatBigGreenWeek
There will be information about climate change, community climates and hubs, energy efficiency and lots more ideas with an interactive session for any questions you might have and suggestions and ideas on how you can implement small but meaningful changes to assist wildlife and the environment.
