CELEBRATING GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK 2022
October 2022 Art Matters celebrated The Great Big Green Week by creating a large print. Using smaller foam print boards, printmakers made individual artworks in foamboard on the theme the environment, Beetles, flowers, puffins and words began to appear across the studio! These smaller works were brought together, and over two days 21 printmakers worked on this unified, larger work you see before you.
Our thanks to the Art Matters printmakers for their beautiful work and to the ‘Climate Action Redhill and Reigate’ (CARR) in endeavouring to bring the community together in the face the climate crisis that threatens our world.
Based in Earlswood, Art Matters is a community arts studio and part of the mental health charity Richmond Fellowship. The studio offers a supportive environment for individuals to explore their creativity curiosity and learn new skills. We believe creativity has the ability to heal and connect people.

WHO WE ARE & WHAT WE DO
Established in 1995, Art Matters is a community arts studio and centre of wellbeing, mindfulness and growth, aiming to connect communities and provide creative pathways to recovery. Redhill Art Matters is a social enterprise service built to help people living with mental ill health re-gain important life skills in employment and volunteering in a safe and friendly environment.
The studio offers a person-centred and supportive environment, in which service users are encouraged to explore their creativity, curiosity, and develop new skills and confidence, working as artists alongside experienced and creative staff and volunteers.
Individuals are encouraged to set themselves goals and take ownership of their development pathways, building on personal strengths and aspirations in a shared and inclusive environment.
