This is a free one-to-one service (booked at a time that suits you) that runs Monday to Friday and is run by our Surrey Employment Service.
TIME
You will have a personal appointment that works around you.
ABOUT THIS SESSION
Our qualified Advice and Guidance Employment Advisors can support you on a one-to-one basis, providing confidential, impartial advice and guidance to help you to move forward with getting a new job or retaining your existing one.
Here are just some of the areas we can support you with:

• Job searching
• Interview practice and techniques
• Confidence building
• In-work advice and guidance
• Job retention
• Employer liaison support

Once you are referred to our service you’ll be allocated a specialist employment advisor who will work with you to set positive and achievable goals by a personalised support plan.
Your advisor will not just help you find paid employment but will help you retain your employment if you so wish.
We can work with you and, if you consent, your employer to make plans and find solutions that enable you to carry on in work or return to work if you have been off work due to illness.

WHO CAN JOIN THESE SESSIONS?
Anyone who lives in Surrey and is over the age of 18.
HOW THE SESSIONS ARE RUN
Your sessions can take place over the phone, email, using What’s App video call or a video chat service called Zoom. We can help you set this up, you don’t need to do anything now.
