It look me a little while to get into the routine and practice of using the diary.  I was a little sceptical at first and felt a bit silly, if totally honest.  However, I used it daily, each morning, now.  It allows me to just get everything out of my head and onto paper and helps me focus for my coming day.  The gratitude section has also helped me be less negative.  I was in a bad place, and can still get there from time to time, but it helps me steer away from negative to more positive and helpful ways.  I’m not saying it’s fixed me, far from it, but it has become a daily tool to allow me to start off in a good place and focus myself.  Especially when I feel I can’t express myself to others or close ones.  It’s my diary for my eyes only.  I would definitely at least try and give it a go, but persist at it to see the difference
