Our Friday Support Circle have been exploring five minute hacks we can use to support our physical and/or mental wellbeing.

Here are some of the amazing hacks they have come up with for a five minute wellbeing boost.

  • Send someone a text to wish them well
  • Apply hand cream
  • Make a hot drink
  • Move away from your work station
  • Have a renewal pause
  • Progressive muscle relaxation
  • Grounding / breathing exercises
  • Put on piece of music and move/dance whilst engaging your senses
  • Diamond art
  • Cuddle or stroke a pet
  • Let the dog out
  • Practice mindfulness whilst cleaning your teeth or washing up
  • Blow bubbles or find something “childlike to do”
  • Cold shower
  • Put five things away
  • Have a conversation with a friend who makes you laugh
  • Unload dishwasher, fold up laundry
  • Make your bed
  • Before you go to bed make sure your favourite cup is laid out for morning drink
  • Open your windows and air a room
  • Stretch
  • Pay a bill
  • Book a delivery slot for supermarkets
  • Quick piece of admin you have been putting off
  • Quick pamper – e.g apply moisturiser
